Approximately 300 Veterans did not receive a Veterans Wreath this year.
Sponsor a veterans wreath from now until December 31st, 2025 and Wreaths Across America will match your sponsorship for placement December 19, 2026 - Your sponsorship of $17 = 2 wreaths!
Volunteers are needed to assist with Wreath Retirement on January 3, 2026 at 8:00am.until approximately 10am. We will remove our Veterans Wreaths ONLY! Wear comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes, bring garden gloves, and bring a broom handle/PVC Pipe. No tarps, carts, or rope please.

Family First are hours reserved for families who have a loved one interred at Sarasota National Cemetery and wish to have privacy to remember and honor their loved one. Carpooling is required. Information for Family Day will be released October 2026

On behalf of over 36,850 Veterans, their spouses and qualified dependents lying at rest at Sarasota National Cemetery, we wish to thank you for supporting our Mission to Remember our Fallen, Honor our Active Duty Military and Veterans and Teach our younger generations the value of freedoms year round.

Volunteers are needed to assist with Wreath Retirement at Sarasota National Cemetery. We will remove our Veterans Wreaths ONLY! Do not remove personal items from our heroes monuments.
January 3, 2026 at 8:00am until approximately 10am. Rain or Shine Event!
Please register by EMAIL at sarasotawreaths@gmail.com, and provide your name, organization if any, and number of people in your group.
Enter at the 2nd Entrance (East) and park at the Maintenance Building. Please wear comfortable clothing, sturdy shoes (grounds will be damp/wet), garden gloves, and bring a broom handle/PVC pipe/paint pole for carrying multiple wreaths at one time. No garden carts, tarps/sheets or ropes please.
